As we mentioned on the show last year, the state of Wisconsin (where we record the show) recently opened up tax break opportunities for filmmakers. This helped Oshkosh, WI become one of the filming locations for the upcoming "Public Enemies" starring Christian Bale and Johnny Depp and directed by Michael Mann.

Now it looks like Green Bay native Tony Shaloub, best known as Monk from the USA Network series, is filming a new movie in Door County.

I still haven't figured out how I'll end up working myself into one of these movies, but it'll happen someday.
