OK, so it's been awhile since we had much going on here with the At Home Film Festival. Basically, John and I both got really busy in the fall of last year - pulling double duty on our two radio stations, plus vacations, holidays, and other random activities that kept us from continuing to update the podcast on a regular basis. Basically when it came down to it, the AHFF was a low priority compared to our obligations to family and the jobs that actually come with a paycheck.

We had left off with just one week of our planned 5-episode Halloween Horror-thon posted on the site... but we HAD recorded all of those episodes, along with our James Bond Film Festival - they just weren't edited together or ready to be posted online (a longer process than I enjoy).

But finally, all the old stuff is up and available for you to enjoy. Episodes 32 through 35 complete our Halloween Horror-thon (Monsters, Vampires, Zombies, and Scariest Movies). Episode 36 gives you our favorite James Bond movies in our 007 Film Festival.

So, what's next? It's been almost a year since we recorded an episode of the At Home Film Festival, and our schedules are still hectic enough that we don't really have time to prep, record, and produce a one-hour show every week.

BUT - we both want to keep the show going... so we're planning to re-boot this fall. The plan right now is for monthly episodes rather than weekly - but with the option to do some bonus episodes if the time and inspiration strike us.

We'll drop the really timely stuff about which DVD's are hitting stores and which movies are out in theaters. Instead, we'll focus more on the theme for each show and probably add a quick discussion on any films we've seen or DVD's we've purchased since the previous episode.

Also, there may be a few more opportunities for some listener contests through the web site. That means that we'll hopefully have some movie merch and some free DVD's for you to win.

So... look for a new episode in early November (we'll probably pick back up with the promised "Dysfunctional Family Films" show that we promised in the Bond episode). And be sure to let us know any suggestions for the show - themes, content, or anything you want to hear.

Thanks... talk to you soon.
