Geeks all over the world just shot a massive collective load: Sam Raimi (Evil Dead trilogy, Spider-man trilogy, Drag Me To Hell) has signed on to direct a movie based on the video game World of Warcraft.

Just to be clear: I'm not insulting geeks here... I'm a big Raimi fan, and I also play World of Warcraft. So count me in whenever this project actually hits theaters.
